Sustainable Cities works with communities to engage young people in city planning and visioning processes. Through leading workshops and training youth engagement coordinators, we offer expertise in meaningful involvement of young people in visioning and planning for the future of their community. One of our tools is to work with young people to map the assets (spaces, places, businesses, resources, activities and organizations) that are youth-friendly in their community. These maps are then often developed into printed or electronic youth guides.
